The film Snowmen, which features Oakville actor Christian Martyn, was part of this year’s Sprockets program, which ran April 5-17. Snowmen screened multiple times en route to being awarded the Golden Sprocket for “Best Feature Film”—the highest accolade given by the “kids only” jury of highly discriminating eight to 10 year olds.  The film has won Audience Awards in Tribeca and more recently, at the Dallas International Film Festival last weekend. Martyn was present at the April 9 along with star Bobby Coleman.  The young thespians introduced the movie and then participated in a spirited Q&A with audience members. Martyn has various other projects on the go, having just finished shooting for the film Edwin Boyd. He can also be heard as the voice of Rabbit in the current season of Franklin & Friends, which airs on Treehouse. The screenings took place at the TIFF Bell Lightbox Theatre in Toronto.
